HEALING OUR EMOTIONS with HERBS and CHAKRA BALANCING

The seventh chakra balance is affected by the balance of the previous six chakras. It is our connection with the Universal Life Force, is associated with the sense of direction; rules the upper brain, right eye, pineal gland, and the entire nervous system; its color is violet or white. Its mantra is OM.

The crystals/gemstones for the seventh chakra include diamond, amethyst, charoite, clear quartz and suglite. Its aroma/incense is Lotus, Rose. The yoga posture that aids in the healing and balancing is the headstand, the lotus, and all meditation postures. To facilitate the opening and healing of the crown chakra: you feed it via fasting/detoxing; incense and smudging with: sage, copal, myrrh, frankincense and juniper.

Tensions that are felt in our psyche are also felt in our bodies via the chakra system. Conversely, tensions felt in our bodies are also experienced in our psyche. The chakras are how our unconscious and superconscious self can communicate with our conscious mind.

Each chakra vibrates to a different frequency. The chakras are located on the surface of our etheric body. Each of the seven chakras is in a different location along the spinal cord and each chakra influences a different endocrine gland and nerve plexus.

Through this series of the Seven Chakras, you have gained the tools through which you can start on a path to heal your physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. Namaste – its been my honor and pleasure to serve you.

HEALING OUR EMOTIONS with HERBS and CHAKRA BALANCING

Once the crown chakra is fully awakened, the ego loses its exclusive stronghold on the mind and is replaced with the compassion and wisdom found within the knowledge of “oneness with all life”. In turn, such understanding naturally provides a context where joy, harmony and serenity can be experienced and expressed freely, as this newly accessed chakra becomes the foundation of our spiritual body and links us to the highest guidance, The Creator.

The seventh chakra physically influences the cerebral cortex, cerebrum, central nervous system, the pineal and pituitary glands and hormones related to them.

When the crown chakra is balance we are released from ego driven desires, are able to trust in our highest guidance and know that we are guided in all that we do. When not working well, we will still be guided but this guidance will probably be ego influenced and may cause us to become unsure of our “self,” reducing our self-confidence, feeling a constant sense of frustration, depression, no spark of joy, as well as having destructive feelings and creating fear and anxiety. This can manifest in the form of apathy, problems with understanding and retention of knowledge, headaches, worry, immune disorders, mental and cognitive problems.

HEALING OUR EMOTIONS with HERBS and CHAKRA BALANCING

The highest chakra is called Sahasrara in Sanskrit, and is at the crown of the head. Its literal meaning is “thousandfold,” depicted by a thousand petaled lotus flower, its color violet or white (being an amalgamation of all colors). It governs the function of the pineal gland, the upper brain and the right eye, and correlates to the infinity of space, time and beyond. Yoga is one of the most popular ways to work with the chakras – hatha yoga, kundalini yoga, and tantra yoga.

When out of balance you may find yourself in a constant sense of frustration, no spark of joy, and destructive feelings. Illnesses may include migraine headaches and depression. To help restore balance in these instances, one should meditate, cut back on activities and “just be”, spend time in stillness and silence, practice gratitude, create an altar, do anything that makes you feel peaceful and harmonious, and surrender a problem to your higher power.

A balanced crown chakra will manifest the ability to open up to the Divine and total access to the unconscious and subconscious. To help maintain a good balanced crown chakra, be mindful and present in doing your daily life activities, reach out to others, have regular eating habits, get a pet and get involved in something.

HEALING OUR EMOTIONS with HERBS and CHAKRA BALANCING

Within the Kundalini Force contact is made between the infinite, divine creative energy and the finite, physical sexual energy. For the Soul to gain its highest spiritual potential while incarnated in a physical form, the great mass of Kundalini energy locked in the root chakra must be released to travel up to the crown chakra. Via these past few articles, we have just traveled that path.

7th CROWN CHAKRA, located at the top of the head (that soft spot we diligently protect in newborns), is the direct connection to the Universe and the Creator. We've worked our way up from the 1st Root Chakra which is our grounding center and direct connection to the Earth, to the Crown Chakra as the center of our spiritual connection to the Creator, to the greater world beyond, to a timeless, spaceless place of all-knowing.

As the center of spirituality, enlightenment, dynamic thought and energy, when developed, this chakra brings us knowledge, understanding, spiritual connection and bliss. It allows for the inward flow of wisdom, and brings the gift of cosmic consciousness. Here we are able to experience direct, absolute perception of reality on our central nervous system.

This is that place where life animates the physical body: that silver cord that connects the aura bodies extends from the Crown Chakra. The Soul comes into the body through the Crown at birth and leaves from the Crown at death.

HEALING OUR EMOTIONS with HERBS and CHAKRA BALANCING

To finish up our understanding of the 6th Chakra, it is associated with the carotid plexus, the nerves on each side of the face, and the pituitary gland. This chakra is actually IN the brain so its nature is very mental. This chakra controls then entire endocrine system as a system, and the process of growth and is considered a link between the inner world and outer world.

Resonating this chakra opens the door to a reality separate from the ordinary world, as we find inner vision as part of this chakra as well as actual seeing and outer vision. At the 6th center we will also find insight into the nature of oneself as it is also the seat of true knowledge.

Habits that negatively affect and damage this chakra are roving eyes, watching impure things, or selfcenteredness. When out of balance we experience nightmares, headaches, blurred vision/eye problems, lack of concentration, forgetfulness, tumors, strokes, seizures and blindness. To clearnse this chakra and restore balance, one should meditate, utilize color therapy, watch the world closely: the sky, earth and nature in its daily service to us; do things mindfully and with presence, something that builds concentration; focus on the big picture.

The color associated with this chakra is Indigo and midnight blue; its sound is Om and the gemstones are lapis lazuli, amethyst, sodalite, sugilite, purple fluorite, blue aventurine and blue kyanite. Yoga postures that help heal this chakra are the headstand, corpse and alternate nostril breathing. Its herbs are mugwort, star anise, acacia and saffron.
